Welcome to Pierce Online!

Pierce Online is Los Angeles Pierce College’s Distance Education program, using Canvas as our learning management system (LMS). We provide support for virtual classrooms where instructors post assignments, activities, messages, and course materials. Faculty use the Pierce Online team to enhance on-campus classes or to deliver fully online or hybrid courses.

How to Register for Online Classes

To register for an online class follow the same procedure as registering for an on-campus class.

1. Go to SIS Registration
2. Sign in
3. Input the section number of the online course

LAPC is committed to maintaining the integrity of online education. In compliance with U.S. Department of Education regulations, we provide students with clear procedures and contact information for resolving complaints, whether through our accrediting agency or the appropriate state agency where the student resides.
