Graduation

Students must file a graduation petition to be evaluated for completion of degrees or certificates. This includes general education certification.

Students can file a graduation petition in their student portal. They can also schedule an appointment with an academic counselor if they need assistance submitting a petition.

Visit the Graduation Office website for deadlines and steps to file a graduation petition.

Students who are eligible to graduate will receive their diploma or certificate via Parchment Diploma Services.

If a student's graduation petition is approved, they will receive an email from Parchment.

Visit the Graduation Office website for more information.

Transcripts

The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) uses Parchment Transcript Services. LAPC is part of the LACCD.

For information on how to order your transcripts, view the LAPC: How to Order Transcripts website.

If you wish to have courses taken outside the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) evaluated for LAPC credit, you must meet with an academic counselor.

You will also need to send official transcripts to LAPC Admissions and Records. International transcripts must first be evaluated by a CTC approved credential agency.

For more information about transcript evaluation, visit the Counseling Center: Transcript Evaluation website.
