EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
ASO Concert: Music Department Showcase
Join us for a special concert highlighting the talent of Pierce College music students, presented by the Associated Student Organization. The performance will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Building.
The event will take place between 9:30 am and 2 pm at various locations around the campus. The workshops will be in classrooms mostly around the quad at 9:35 and at 11:10 am. The keynote presentation with Sisters of the One Drum takes place at 12 noon at the Great Hall. There will be an ASO Club Showcase at 1 pm outside the Great Hall and additional performances at 1:10 and 2 pm. Earth Day Bash: Celebrate Sustainability
Join the Pierce College community for the Earth Day Bash, where students, staff, and local organizations come together to promote environmental awareness and green practices. The event will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Mall Area in front of the Library. Enjoy interactive activities, learn about sustainable living, and connect with eco-conscious groups.
Musical Performance: Guys & Dolls and World Songs
Experience a unique student performance that combines scenes from the classic musical Guys & Dolls with renditions of French and world songs. This musical showcase will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 1:10 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Great Hall.
Faculty Spotlight Recital: Michelle Do, Piano
Pianist Michelle Do takes the stage in a faculty spotlight recital featuring a diverse and engaging piano repertoire. Presented by the ASO and Music Department, the recital will take place on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Building. This event offers students and community members a chance to hear professional-caliber performance on campus.
Student Health & Wellness Fair 2025
Explore the wide range of wellness services available to support student health and well-being at Pierce College’s annual Health & Wellness Fair. The fair will take place on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Building 600. Learn about campus and community health resources, enjoy interactive booths, and find new ways to take care of yourself.

CSU Channel Islands Info Session at Pierce
Meet with a representative from CSU Channel Islands to learn about transfer pathways, majors, and resources available to incoming students. This session will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Career & Transfer Center. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions and explore how to plan your transfer.
Misinformation Mayhem: Navigating the Fake News Era
Join a timely discussion on how misinformation spreads and how to critically evaluate online content. This in-person event will take place on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. via Zoom. Students will gain tools to recognize and challenge misleading information in digital spaces.
Misinformation Mayhem: Navigating the Fake News Era
