On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Pierce College invites the community to experience its annual Multicultural Day, a vibrant celebration of diversity through education, art, and performance. This day-long event offers a rich array of cultural presentations across campus from 9:35 AM to 3:00 PM. The morning features fascinating faculty-led sessions exploring cultural topics ranging from ancestral medical practices and cross-cultural psychology to Latino lowrider culture and T'ai Chi Ch'uan workshops. At noon, don't miss the keynote performance by Sisters of the One Drum in the Great Hall, followed by an ASO Club Showcase with complimentary appetizers. The afternoon continues with musical performances from "Guys and Doll" featuring Professor Dominique Merrill and concludes with a spectacular Ballet Folklorico performance. This immersive cultural experience offers something for everyone—whether you're interested in anthropology, literature, performing arts, or simply expanding your cultural horizons.
