Lunar Eclipse Night

On-Campus : 2nd floor of the Center for the Sciences
9:00 pm - 11:59 pm Academic Lunar Eclipse Night

Please join us on the 2nd floor of the Center for the Sciences for our FREE outdoor viewing of the best lunar eclipse of 2025.  We're open to the community and we'll have telescopes set up, chairs so kids can see as well and chairs for those who want to rest their knees.  The eclipse itself will go from 9pm to 3am so we won't see all of it but we'll do the first half until we get into the full blood moon part of the eclipse as the moon is lit by the red sun of every single sunrise and sunset on Earth simultaneously!  The best entrance is at Mason and Victory, parking is in the big parking lot to the left as you enter (you will need to pay for parking but the event itself is free) and then just walk into the big building right there, the Center for the Sciences and come up to the 2nd Floor.  Look for the big patio near the big blue dome!  Coming from the parking lot, elevators are near the front right entrance and the back left entrance.  For any other accommodations or questions please contact Dale Fields at @email
