Tongva Clapper Stick Workshop
Featuring: Lazaro Arvizu Jr., Tongva artist and educator
Clapper Sticks are a Tongva musical instrument, art piece, & cultural object. Workshop includes demonstration, storytelling, & hands-on student participation.
There are 20 seats available for students to create their own clapper sticks. You must sign up to reserve a seat. First come first served. All are welcome to attend as an observer. Link here to claim seat or indicate your interest in attending as an observer.
